Our Story…

Let’s set the scene: we were outside on a sunny deck, enjoying our third cup of tea for the day. The birds were chirping, and flowers were blooming. Meanwhile, we treated ourselves to a delicious piece of chocolate fudge when a brilliant idea popped into our heads: “Let’s bring this experience to other people, but on a much grander scale!”

In that moment, a dream was born, sparking us into action. Soon after, we were rummaging through thrift stores, collecting priceless pieces of history—fine china. Months flew by as we spent our time treasure hunting and curating our collection. Today, it features china and linens from various generations, blending artistic inspirations that range from ornate designs to simple elegance. Each piece reflects the timeless tradition of fussing over loved ones and doing so in style.

Before long, we found ourselves supplying and assisting with various events, from birthday celebrations and themed gatherings to enchanting garden parties. We even began a theme at our hosted events: encouraging guests to write postcards. Thus, The Penny Post was born! We’ve loved mailing out these postcards and spreading smiles along the way.
